I spent my whole life chasing a ball and a dream. Soccer was everything — my discipline, my drive, my identity. It pushed me to level up, and eventually carried me all the way through college. But like most chapters, that one closed.

Then I married my husband, and life got beautifully unpredictable. Six years of military life moved us around every single year — new cities, new neighbors, new starts. I loved every bit of it. Through every move and fresh beginning, my husband was in my corner every single day. We built something really beautiful through all of it — a life, a family, and a love that never needed roots to grow.

When he finished his service, we settled in South Georgia for good. And for the first time, I had space to ask myself — what's mine? I was a mom of two, working from home, pouring into everyone around me. I needed something creative, something that filled me up.

That's how I found permanent jewelry. The metals, the technique, the tiny tedious welds that demand total focus and a steady hand — I was hooked. And knowing there are tiny pieces of my work on people all over the world? We live in a tourist area, and those pieces travel. That never gets old.

But what truly sealed it for me was the stories. Every time someone sits down with me, I ask what brought them in. A mother-daughter bond. A birthday milestone. A couple's chain. A charm that carries a name, a memory, a loss, a new beginning. I hold onto every single one — and when customers come back, I connect their face to their story. They're always amazed I remember. But how could I forget? Their stories are woven right into the pieces.
